Contempt of Congress
Zogby and others show the polls. It is things like this which reinforce the public's perception if they read & are awake!  Maybe the video explains it.
Maybe we should pray for gridlock instead!

What stuck in my mind was that they fixed the error.  Things go wrong, there is an uproar, they get fixed.  Now if it didn't get fixed and the opposing politicians just accepted the error, that would give me pause to consider.

I think the underlying issue here is perverse partisan polarity in Washington.  This creates a environment in which the best solutions do not emerge.  How can we fix that?

It looked more like a Democrat fix to me!

Yep, the Democrats fixed the voting error .
The democrats didn't win that was the only voting error. So make it disappear and try again. That's the real waste of time.

Sorry, all i hear in your complaints is "perverse partisan polarity".  Rubbing alcohol does not make it taste any better.
