Is it just partisanship which hunts for answers to why a government sanctioned (DHS, ATF, DOJ or ?) gun running operation gone bad, with hundreds of Mexicans & a USA border control agent killed, was conducted in the United States without anyone being responsible ? Is it not the Congressional oversight function of government that should be able to compel answers be found, in a timely manner? If such an operation can be conducted with nobody responsible, is that not a giant fucking clue that this government has gotten so out of touch with reality & is way out of control such that it needs to be pared down to such a size that it can be managed by the people & for the people & not just for few who are privileged & exempt from the rule of laws they make for others?
    
It is TIME to FLUSH the TOILET of THIS GOVERNMENT!

I sometimes liken the legal system as similar to a baseball game.  If you can run fast enough you can get to first base & then you are safe.  If the pitcher or catcher is not alert, you can steal second. If someone on your team just dribbles the ball with a bunt you can again run real fast to third. And, then if another team mate hits a big whopper high enough & far enough & even the opposing team catches it for an out you can still run home & score! For some it's just a game, eh?

Not really I caught a little on facebook before my stomach began to turn from the dripping sarcasm & I quit. You can say one thing with your mouth & another thing with your tonality. Bush's claims of executive privilege & Obama's are different cases.  Obama's is closer to Nixon's. The libs are trying to merge them of course to muddy the distinction & justify getting away with pretending nobody was responsible for the fast & furious botched up operation. It's time to hold the president in contempt until he names the responsible party for the operation. The buck stops on the desk in the oval office.

Well it does seem to me that if Holder's involvement was innocent and minimal that there would be a way to "come clean" about it and still not compromise current operatives.  That he does not looks bad.  That Obama does not take that tack but hides behind executive privilege looks bad too.  I'm glad that Jon Steward did not give him a pass.  I expect Republicans are gloating anxious to pounce ... just part of the partisan tribalism that pervades Washington.  Have fun with it bro ... your attitudes deserve it.
Let me know when the taste of the Kool-Aid begins to just be sour, bro!

Current government transparency is for shit!
So far we have an unsolved murder of a border patrol agent with someone in the executive branch being an accomplice by authorizing or providing, channeling the murder weapon to the perp. I'm fairly certain nobody in the Congress of Judiciary was responsible. That only leaves the executive branch & Obama is its head.  It is not partisan to be offended that so far the investigation has not found the culprit after 1 year 6 months & 10 days (558 days ago).

... Apparently the country has forgotten state's rights & refuses to enforce the law; furthermore burdening border states with the burden of illegal immigration to the education & law enforcement & health care systems.
Fuck it all!
Let's all just decide which laws we like & don't like & not follow the ones we don't like & see how far the rule of law goes, eh?

The Supremacy Clause gives Congress the power to preempt state law. A statute may contain an express preemption provision […] but state law must also give way to federal law in at least two other circumstances. First, States are precluded from regulating conduct in a field that Congress has determined must be regulated by its exclusive governance.
... so in this case the Federal law IS the law that must be enforced.  You can like it or not, but to claim the country has refused to enforce the law is to deny the Constitutional process that has taken place.

nope, didn't miss it, nor is the foxnews article you quoted above about it .

In any case the allegation that Obama's choice of priorities are against the law is something that can be tested in a court of law ...  sans that ruling he is just doing his job ... the job which he was elected to do ... notwithstanding the Republican parties efforts to obstruct.
Yep, selectively enforcing the law to PANDER for votes? Like selectively exempting unions & contributors from the mandatory parts of Obamacare to PANDER for votes, etc.

If it was all unintentional then nothing explains why Holder submitted two reports that had to be rescinded because there were innacuracies (lies) in them.  Also nothing explains why Holder has stonewalled for so long & why we still don't know who was responsible. It is still 560 days & counting & the administration has not answered that question. There is an old saying that a fish rots from the head first.

Justice Department won’t prosecute Attorney General Holder for contempt of Congress.  In other words Holder has as much contempt for the partisan conrtrolled House of Representatives as that august body has for him.  Way to go ... fight contempt with contempt !
