Obamalagnia & other Coins

I am probably going to use this term more often until the War on Women foolishness meme or Obama gets replaced. The term evolved when I noticed that I could use the name Obama in a discussion & suddenly the discussion would get way side-tracked & the mind & rationality of the political opposition in a discussion went poof!

I considered that his name was what some would call a red herring - because it sidetracked the rational mind of most Obama acolytes. I was overjoyed to find that Google Images had something called an Obamafish:

But after a while that metaphor got tiring although it still seems to apply to most political arguments involving the lefty side of life. Finally I found the root of the word urolagnia & today a more appropriate word algolagnia. The root similarity in both words "lagnia" is Greek for lust. In the former case it is what the perversion calls golden showers. In the latter case it is the lust for pain similar to masochism - B&D. For the case in point a suitable substitute for obamafish came to mind - that of Obamalagnia - an unreasonable lust for Obama transcending pain & being peed on - rather my experience of the Obama presidency if not America's. My coin thus complete!

Nope, apparently Google has not as yet found my coin yet ... i believe i used in first over on fabebook and that is a walled garden ..

The authors even identified a universal "tipping point" in the life cycle of new words: Roughly 30 to 50 years after their birth, they either enter the long-term lexicon or tumble off a cliff into disuse. The authors suggest that this may be because that stretch of decades marks the point when dictionary makers approve or disapprove new candidates for inclusion. Or perhaps it's generational turnover: Children accept or reject their parents' coinages....

Ok i noticed, below, that Google finally picked up my coin, albeit still in the news ...

Of course that doesn't mean that anybody else is going to use that string. That being what makes interjects it into the language. One needs to be widely read and popular to have that kind of clout ... little guys like us rarely get terms to be used ... the same goes for your "obamalagnia". Incidentally i like your spelling better ... "sos yobama" rather than sticking the hyphen in.
